Made while in recovery from a mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI). In the making of this piece, and others like it, I began relearning and unlearning. I later realized that the black shapes represented gaps in memory, knowledge, or general information. Over time my brain healed and filled in those voids.
I began created three demential versions of this black forms that I bow call voids. I will upload some of the ceramic sculptural forms soon. But for now you can see images and videos of them on my instagram page. Link below. While there please follow me:)
